The signal's down the train rolls in,
The doors open the guard lets us in
An old man stumbles to the ground

Reminisces about the good old days

Off the train and onto the street
Where homeless sit with dogs asleep at their feet

It's been a tough couple of years
Walk into the nearest bar
Where superheroes and cheerleaders star
Bride to be in her hen night dress
Last night of freedom she's out with her friends
